My wife eloped with my neighbour.

This happened last Christmas holiday when I took my wife with my two daughters home for their celebrations. I was still held up at work and after dropping them in the morning I decided to travel back to Nakuru where I run a consultancy office.

I arrived in Nakuru at around noon but again my neighbor called me urgently telling me how he had seen my wife with another neighbor- man. I quickly thought something was wrong and this forced me to plan travelling back. I did not call to prepare her.

I arrived at my rural at around 6.30 and started looking for her all over when one of my 5 year old kid told me that her mother was in my neighbours house and she had gone there from morning. The neighbour in question did not have a wife so I got curious on what my wife could be doing with him. I went there and I was met by the surprise of my life.

“Beb, hii yako leo ni moto kama Doshi,” I heard my wife telling the neighbor as they enjoyed hot lungula. I was so infuriated and I called my older brother who came and heard the disgusting noisy sex that was going on. He was equally shocked and he told me the best way to teach them a lesson was to call Doctor Mugwenu who is a traditional herbalist.

We called the doctor and he swiftly did some distance black magic and no sooner did he finsih than we heard both of them wailing in pain saying they were stuck in each other. My brother and I walked in the house and we found a very bad scene of my neighbour and my wife stuck stark naked.

The whole family came to spectate at them as they cried in huge embarrassment. I pleaded with Daktari to separate them so that they can be beaten thoroughly with neighbours. That was my best day since they were taught a lifetime lesson.

I advise anyone with a similar problem to visit Dr. Mugwenu. Just like a medical doctor, Dr. Mugwenu does a diagnosis on his clients by asking a few questions for self-introspection in the area of one’s life such as challenges in financial and physical aspects, among others.

Dr. Mugwenu says his spell casting powers work within 24 hours, and usually within the same day they are released. He handles general problems ranging from winning court cases, winning the lottery, protection of family and property, as well as accurately foretelling one’s future.

Many others who have been assisted by him say they have received powerful healing and are now more connected to their fellow lonely hearts.

Contact herbalist Dr. Mugwenu. He heals pressure, diabetes, ulcers, gonorrhea, syphilis, TB, manhood weakness among other things.

The doctor also solves life’s challenges such as love issues, family problems, hardships in business, increases your luck, that is, winning lottery games and court cases, promotions at work and clears away devilish spirits and dreams.

Arewa group begs FG to ban porn websites from Nigeria’s cyberspace

The request was first directed to the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, and later to the Ministry of Information and Culture, headed by Lai Mohammed [Businessday]

The group says individuals or companies that refuse to comply with the ban should be fined.

The request was first directed to the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, and later to the Ministry of Information and Culture, headed by Lai Mohammed [Businessday]

The Arewa Youth Consultative Council (AYCC) has asked the Federal Government to block ‘sexual and immorally-related’ websites from the Nigerian cyberspace.

In a statement signed by the group’s spokesperson, Muhammad Ibrahim, on Friday, August 14, 2020, AYCC said it is concerned by the exposure of Nigerian youths to ‘sexual contamination’.

The group said the exposure of Nigerian youths to sexual content is fueling a culture of indecency, immorality and increasing cases of sexual misbehaviours.

AYCC, in the letter addressed to the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, called on the government to enforce a strict monitoring policy that will remove pornographic content.

“We resolved to write to you as concerned citizens to call on your quick intervention in blocking sexual and immorality related sites in the Nigerian cyberspace to sanitise the reckless behaviour and continuous immoral engagements among youths for sustainable development and progress of our societies,” the statement read.

AYCC also said the government should ‘force’ service providers to protect Nigerians from content involving violence and terrorism.

The youth group noted that the censure will prevent future catastrophe that will erase the possibility of a lost society.

The group suggested that individuals or companies that refuse to comply with the censure should be fined millions and billions of naira, respectively.

FG Abandons National Identity Card, Reveals New Means of Identification

The Nigerian government has disclosed that the current plastic national identity card will be replaced with a digital means of identification.

The minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola, on Thursday, August 13, made the disclosure to the press after the committee on citizen data management and harmonisation held a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, Daily Trust reported.

Aregbesola, who also chairs the committee, said that the card is no more the focus, adding that the important thing is the National Identity Number (NIN).

The minister said the digital process will be to be domiciled in the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

Similarly, the minister of communications and digital economy, Ali Pantami who was at the present at the press briefing, stated that the world had gone digital and stopped focusing on the production of cards.

He said ”What the chairman is saying now is that we’re no more talking about cards, the world has gone digital. So, that card is no more,”

”Our priority now is digital identity, it will be attached to your database wherever you are.”Now, our focus is no longer on producing cards, that card is only for record but what is important is that the digital ID and if you notice we’ve started using the digital ID on the international passport.

”Once you have the digital ID but not the card, we are 100% done with you,” the minister said.

Meanwhile, it earlier reported that the comptroller_general of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mohammed Babandede has said that they will be reciprocating travel bans and restrictions on Nigeria by any country.

Babandede who said this in reaction to the inclusion of Nigeria by the United States to its list of countries with visa restrictions, told TheSignature50 magazine that Nigeria also has the right to dictate who it allows in or restricts entry from.

The Immigration CG said; ”I can tell you that US is a country, it is a nation like Nigeria. They have the right to restrict who will enter their territory or not just like we can restrict US citizen or whomsoever from entering Nigeria.

”So they have the right, but I want people to know that Visa restriction is not a Visa ban, it’s a ban for people who want to take residency not people who want to go for short visits.

”You’re aware that President Muhammadu Buhari just launched a new visa policy for Nigeria, the visa policy has 79 classes of visa. So, we will be in a position to say to countries, if you allow us for short visits we will allow you for short visits and if you stop us from other visits, we do the same, because the new visa policy is based on reciprocity.

”So, we will test this for a year and see those who reciprocate and we take actions for those who do otherwise.”

Edo guber: PDP, APC candidates battle for monarch’s blessings

Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu has said officials of the administration of Governor Godwin Obaseki are different from former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and the party’s governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

The leading candidates for the September 19 governorship election in Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP; and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are in a rat race of sorts for the support of traditional rulers in the state.

Since the campaigns started, the duo have received a flood of royal blessings, endorsements and titles, which their campaign councils have bandied separately as having the support of the grassroots.

The trend continued yesterday.

At the palace of the Ogieneni of Uzairue, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Kadiri Imonikhe Omogbai IV, the monarch conferred the Onoshiorena of Uzairue (He that God has crowned) chieftaincy title on Obaseki.

Ogieneni also installed the Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu, as the Oshiozekhai (It is God that Chooses) of Uzairue. Shaibu is from the Uzairue clan in Etsako West local government area.

Omogbai IV said: “Your deputy is from this place and he is my son, just as you have said earlier. Considering what you have done in the last four years, you have done very well. In terms of infrastructural development, I believe you have done well for the state.https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-6154652480104730&output=html&h=343&slotname=5565696934&adk=2617371453&adf=190430396&w=412&ebfa=1&lmt=1597398725&rafmt=1&armr=2&psa=1&guci=2.2.0.0.2.2.0.0&format=412×343&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.today.ng%2Fnews%2Fpolitics%2Fedo-guber-pdp-apc-candidates-battle-monarchs-blessings-312781&flash=0&fwr=1&fwrattr=true&rh=600&rw=300&rpe=1&resp_fmts=3&sfro=1&wgl=1&adsid=NT&dt=1597398723813&bpp=22&bdt=3987&idt=1639&shv=r20200810&cbv=r20190131&ptt=9&saldr=aa&abxe=1&cookie=ID%3D15fe3a032e010641%3AT%3D1597398617%3AS%3DALNI_MZ-xwZm4n-UA4sfyidyVievTD780A&prev_fmts=0x0%2C412x343&nras=1&correlator=8784116438003&frm=20&pv=1&ga_vid=1536989592.1597398508&ga_sid=1597398725&ga_hid=1562066760&ga_fc=0&iag=0&icsg=2254053195819659&dssz=60&mdo=0&mso=0&u_tz=60&u_his=1&u_java=0&u_h=892&u_w=412&u_ah=892&u_aw=412&u_cd=24&u_nplug=0&u_nmime=0&adx=0&ady=1944&biw=412&bih=663&scr_x=0&scr_y=0&eid=42530557%2C42530559%2C44717728%2C21066973&oid=3&pvsid=4034978425601400&pem=103&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fm.break.ma%2F&rx=0&eae=0&fc=1924&brdim=0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C412%2C0%2C412%2C663%2C412%2C663&vis=1&rsz=%7C%7CoeEbr%7C&abl=CS&pfx=0&fu=8320&bc=31&ifi=2&uci=a!2&btvi=1&fsb=1&xpc=AmWU1EMnDJ&p=https%3A//www.today.ng&dtd=1672

“You have good men around you. I promise you that Uzairue people will give you 100 per cent vote. I will also like to make some appeals to you. I want your government to upgrade the Uzairue Market to a modern one.”

In a related development, the Otaru of Auchi who is also the Vice-Chairman of the Edo State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru Momoh Ikelebe III, conferred a title ‘Itsemakhoma’ of Auchi (this is our own) on Ize-Iyamu, when the APC candidate paid a visit to his palace.

He hinged the conferment and honour on Ize-Iyamu’s love for the people, track record of performance in his previously held government positions, and deep respect for the traditional institution in the State.

The Otaru said the Auchi sacred kingdom was proud of Ize-Iyamu and his achievements.

Also The Otu of Igarra, High Chief Joseph Mayaki Akpeji, according to Prince John Mayaki, Chairman, Edo State APC Media Campaign Council, donated the sum of one million naira to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, and his running mate, Mallam Gani Audu.

He made the donation on behalf of the Eziobe traditional council, Akoko Edo, on Thursday when the APC candidate visited his palace.

WOMEN, DON’T TRY TO KNOW A MAN WAYS.

A woman in the city went one morning to her husband’s office to report him to his boss. She told her husband’s boss how her husband usually squandered his N60,000 salary and only gave her N30,000 for upkeep.

After her narration, the boss told her to come back on the last day of the month.

On the set day, she arrived as planned. The boss called the husband and they all sat down in the boss’ office.

The boss started,’ Mr. Mike, you wife reported to me some days ago that you squander your salary outside and only give the family N30,000 for upkeep. So right now, I’m going to personally hand over your salaries to her from today henceforth.’

‘How much is you transportation to work daily?’, the boss asked.
‘N900 sir’, Mr. Mike replied.
The boss handed over N19,800 to Mr. Mike. ‘That should take you for 22 days’.

‘Do you take breakfast at home?’, the boss continued.
‘No sir, I leave home very early to beat traffic jam’.
‘How much do you spend on breakfast and lunch daily?’
‘N500 sir’,replied Mr. Mike.
The boss handed over N11,000 to Mr. Mike.

‘Who pays the children’s school fees’, the boss asked facing Mrs. Mike.
‘He does’, she replied pointing at Mr. Mike.
‘How much is the school fees and how many kids have you?’
‘N30,000 per term for the two kids we have?’
‘In other words, you save N10,000 monthly for each term’s school fees right?’
‘Yes sir’, replied Mr. Mike.
Once again, the boss handed N10,000 to him.

‘Who pays the rent and how much is it?’
‘I do sir. The rent is N36,000 per annum.’ Mr. Mike replied.
‘That’s N3,000 monthly right?’, the boss added as he handed over N3,000 to Mr. Mike.

‘I don’t want to ask about clothings, electricity bills, etc as I know both of you might be handling that’, the boss said as he handed over N16,200 to Mrs. Mike.
‘What’s this for sir’, Mrs. Mike asked surprised.
‘Money for upkeep’, the boss replied her.
‘But it wouldn’t take us anywhere’, she exclaimed.
‘So why don’t you appreciate the N30, 000 your husband sacrifices for you monthly’, the boss asked.
The woman hugged her husband tightly and the rest is history.

Moral:
A lot of women don’t know what their husbands sacrifice to put food on the table. Most times, they go hungry. Sometimes, they swallow their pride and engage in menial and debasing jobs just so their families can eat. A lot of times, they can’t even buy good clothes to wear rather they sacrifice so that their wives and kids can get one.

A man might not tell you what he goes through to get you the cash he gives to you as telling you might make you start underrating his person but to tell you the truth, men go through a lot and need to be appreciated.

Jamaica’s High Court Rules School Can Ban Dreadlocks

Jamaica’s high court ruled Friday that a school was within its rights to demand that a girl cut her dreadlocks to attend classes, a surprise decision that touched on issues of identity and one the most recognizable symbols of the island’s Rastafarian culture.

A rights group, Jamaicans for Justice, had initially lent support to the family, saying the order for the girl to cut her dreadlocks amounted a denial of her freedom of expression and her access to education.

Others viewed the court battle as a stand against rules seen as discrimination against people who wear “natural” hair, including Rastafarians whose dreadlocks are part of their religious tradition.

The girl and her parents, Dale and Sherine Virgo, who both wear dreadlocks, plan to appeal, said their lawyer, Isat Buchanan.

“I will not be cutting my daughter’s hair,” Sherine Virgo said immediately after the ruling. “If they give me that ultimatum again, I will be moving her.”

Virgo’s daughter — now 7 years old and identified in court papers only as Z because she is a minor — was attending classes at the school after the courts delivered an injunction against the Ministry of Education, allowing her to go to school with her dreadlocks intact.

When the school closed this spring because of the coronavirus pandemic, the girl was home-schooled.

“I am more than surprised. It is most unfortunate,” Buchanan said. “It is a most unfortunate day for Black people and for Rastafarian people in Jamaica.”

The girl’s father called the ruling another sign of “systemic racism.”

“A child was refused because of her Black hair, you know?” said Dale Virgo. “It’s so weird that right now in the current climate of the world, in 2020, we are having protests, and Black people are fed up.

“This is an opportunity the Jamaican government and the legal system had to right these wrongs and lead the world and make a change,” he continued. “But they have decided to keep the same system.”

The judgment was delivered in a small courtroom populated mainly by lawyers and the girl’s parents.

The minister of education, Karl Samuda, declined to comment on the ruling, which came on the eve of Emancipation Day, celebrated in Jamaica and elsewhere to mark the end of slavery in the British Empire.

“I’m very cautious about where I tread,” he said, “especially on a sensitive enough subject like that.”

Verene Shepherd, director of the Center for Reparation Research at the University of the West Indies, said the government is debating issues of student clothing and hairstyles, including dreadlocks.

The Virgos say they do not identify as Rastafarian, but they say that wearing dreadlocks is an expression of their identity. All Virgo family members wear that natural hairstyle, as do many Jamaicans who identify as Rastafarian.

Though Rastafarians account for only about 2 percent of Jamaica’s population, the movement has an outsize influence in the culture. Made popular by perhaps the world’s most famous Rastafarian, Bob Marley, it is a political and religious movement that was founded in the 1930s, drawing from African, Revivalist and Christian traditions.

Despite its popularity, Rastafarians, and people who wear natural hair, still face discrimination in Jamaica.

Some schools, including Kensington Primary, explicitly state that dreadlocks are not allowed, and other schools have banned students who refuse to cut them. In the wake of the challenge, the Ministry of Education issued guidelines for hairstyles, including a directive that if children wear dreadlocks, they must be “neat.”

“In general, I think that discrimination on the grounds of hairstyle is wrong,” Shepherd said. “I do not think our children who are Rastafari and who express their culture through their hair should be discriminated against.”
